While visiting and enjoying the beauty of full bloom azaleas at Brighton Dam Azalea Garden two days ago, I came across a pileated woodpecker hopping from tree to tree looking for food. It was such a great opportunity to photograph this beautiful bird in relative short distance with my 400mm lens.
