We are visiting our daughter’ family in Wichita, Kansas vis Saint Louis, Missouri. Naturally, we toured Gateway Arch and also took a brief river cruise on Mississippi River. Here are some pictures of Arch taken from the land and also from the water.

Indeed, it was fun shooting the arch from different points of view.

It was nice to view and photograph the arch from different angles esp. from the cruise boat. I also enjoyed taking some shots of the bridges.

Thank you, I enjoyed photographed the arch from different angles.

  1. It is indeed a stunning and beautiful Arch. I have actually been there during business trip to St Louis.
Seeing the Arch appear I just wanted to stop. Take it in slowly.

Thanks for sharing. Did you have any flood problems due to the heavy rainfall there?

I learned the flood problems in St Louis until we left the city. We were lucky to have a nice day to tour Gateway Arch Park on 7/25. As we were leaving St Louis on the next day, it rained. Anyway, we did not encounter any flood in downtown St. Louis where we stayed overnight.
