I was late going to Brookside Gardens for roses this year due to my travel. Not only did I miss the peak blooming but watched a severe thunderstorm the day befor to do more damage to petals. I managed to get a few ones I liked, one plus side was the raindrops on the flowers taht created more photographic opportunities.
