Bald Eagles at Conowingo Dam, Maryland

I went to Conowingo Dam last week to try my luck of capturing some pictures of bald eagles. The number of bald eagles usually increases a lot in November and December here at Conowingo as the winter approaching in the North. The occasion usually draws lots of photographers, most of them with “big guns”. There were lots of action while I was at site but most of them were far away even with my 600mm telephoto lens. I did capture quite a few of them perching on the tree branches.

This is the mating season for the bald eagles, here is one I captured:
