I visited Upper Antelope Canyon, Page, Arizona about two years ago. It was so crowded with tourists that became very difficult to get any good pictures. I’d like to go back may be next spring and will try the less crowded Lower Antelope Canyon for the magnificent sights of rock formation.

Going there next spring. Did you take the photographer’s tour, or the general public tour? Been debating which to take.
We did pay the premium ($80) for a 2 hour photo tour but was disappointed with so many people that the tour guide had difficult time to control the traffic flow for us to set up tripod. We ended up shooting with high ISO and pretty much hand held. With traffic flow in the Canyon like that, I’d just take the regular one. If you are going next spring, I suggest go early (I’m taking my photo group to shoot Lower Canyon around mid-March before spring break, I hope).
Thanks. We are also going mid March, upper and lower.
I was told noon time is the best time to shoot! I went last July with photo-guide. 2 hours exhausted!
Maybe you should try to book “wave”?
Wave offers limited admittance and is usually on lottery bases. I’m going back to Antelope Canyon next month and hopefully won’t be too much crowd yet.
