These pictures of snow geese were taken near Bombay Hook and Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuges, Delaware on December 19, 2014. The migration of snow geese usually began in October and the number of birds has reached to 100,000 in these refuges according to the Park Ranger. I have taken many pictures of these beautiful birds in the past but still get so excited to witness the “lift off” of tens of thousands of them all at once.
