We visited Painted Desert of Petrified Forest National Monument in Arizona last week and were very fortunate to catch the late afternoon sunlight before the Park closing. We toured the same place three years ago around noon time when we stopped by on the way to Canyon de Chelly. What a difference the golden soft light made this time.
