A Juvenile Red-Shouldered Hawk in My Backyard

A couple of red-shouldered hawks have visited my backyard woods periodically. But I’ve spotted, I believe, a juvenile one recently. This morning a familiar loud call got my attention again and sure enough there were two hawks circling up in the sky and one finally perched on a tree branch in my backyard and provided me with excellent photo op.

Thank you for your comments. It was not easy to hold the 400mm without using the tripod. I did not dare to waste any time to set up my tripod. As it turned out the hawk did not stay on top of tree very long!
