My Favorite Dozen of Lotuses

Lotus is one of my favorite flowers to photograph. They are colorful with beautiful shape and one can always shoot the whole flower or portion of using macro lens. I always watch for the simple background and without bright spots. Sadly, the season is over this year, at least in the Washington DC area. So I thought I’d share a dozen of my favorites taken in the past few years. Hope you enjoy!
