White Sands in B&W

White Sands National Monument in New Mexico is really a paradise for the photographer. I only wish I had stayed for few extra days to cover these beautiful sand dunes. I converted some of the color images to B&W using NIK Silver Efex software.

    I love the top photo! To me it’s actually a very engaging photo. At first glance, the plant seems like it should be a single tree. When you see it’s not, it forces you to examine the photo more closely!
