Desert Elephants In Damaraland, Namibia

We took an afternoon safari ride from our Damaraland base camp in search of the desert elephants in the nearby rugged dry creek and the surrounding hills.  Our experienced guide looked for the different signs of elephants trail while driving through the rugged terrain and after almost an hour we finally got a flock of desert elephants in our sight. What a wonderful sight of more that a dozen of desert climate adopted elephants on the rugged hill.

As we returned from the trip to our camp, we even got a big reward of seeing the gorgeous sunset.
