Japan is one of my favorite countries to visit. It’s beautiful, clean, safe and friendly. Over the years I’ve been there numerous times on individual tours or with the tour groups from Hokkaido to Kyushu and Shikoku. We visited many castles and here are the ones we visited:

Okayama Castle (1997): Nearby Korakuen Garden is one of the best three gardens in Japan.

Okayamajo-1s

Hirosaki Castle (1999): It’s one of the best cherry blossom spots because it is surrounded by 2,500 cherry trees – best time end of April through beginning of May.

Hirosake Castle

Kumamoto Castle, Kyushu (2009): It’s one of the three oldest Japanese Castles.
