Taiwan Little Egrets

I took these pictures of Taiwan Little Egrets at Dahu City Park of Taipei, Taiwan one morning. These beautiful egrets have such beautiful feathers and they stand out on the windy day. They reminded me the snowy egrets I saw and photographed at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Delaware, US. They are about the same size.

You can see Taiwan egrets almost anywhere in Taiwan, especially in the rice fields, fish farming ponds, small creeks, etc. They are about the size of snowy egrets I saw in the States. These egrets shown here were taken at Da-Hu Park, a city park of Taipei. The feathers were particularly beautiful on a windy day!
