More Hummingbirds

It’s a challenge to capture nice fast-moving hummingbird images. Of course, sharpness is the utmost essential criteria but the gesture of the bird and the simplicity of the background are important as well.  I decided to take up the challenge again this morning and ended up with quite a few I like – here are just a few to share, hope you like them!

As I said earlier it is a challenge to capture nice hummingbird images. Yes, it’s a training ground to be quick in detecting the birds with the eyes followed by quick focusing and clicking the shutter! Needs some practice! I set my camera (NikonD600) on manual mode with rapid shots and auto ISO with speed of 1/2500 sec and f/stop at 6.3. The last thing is to find attractive background, if possible. Thanks for visiting my blog.
