Barcelona, Spain

We travelled to Barcelona, Spain three weeks ago and from there started an 11-day cruise with port stops at Casablanca, Morocco, Canary Islands, Madeira and back to Malaga and Barcelona. We stayed near Plaza of Espanya and was able to walk to the National Art Museum. Like any tourist we also visited the Cathedral but could not get any nice pictures due to the major restoration project. However, the most enjoyable tour was the walking tour of Poble Espanyo where we found architecture fascinated and narrow winding street very photogenic.

Thank you! Yes, they were all taken at Poble Espanyo, a beautiful place with theme of “Feeling Spain” so some architecture could be resemble what you see in Andalucia.

  3. These are great photos Stephen and so reminiscent of my travels to Barcelona years ago. The same architecture and narrow streets are still there. You have captured the beauty of Spain and the old buildings of Europe. One wonders how long these treasures will last with mpdernisation. Thank you.

You have captured the beauty of Spain and the old buildings of Europe. One wonders how long these treasures will last with modernisation. Thank you.
