I am visiting my hometown, Kaohsiung, a southern Port City in Taiwan. Twin Pagoda Towers at Lotus Pond has always the landmark of the city. There are still portion of the city wall built in the 1800’s around Zuooying near Lotus Pond remains. The South Gate is probably the most well maintained one. We also visited the beautiful beach in Cijing District.

    Thank you! Some landmarks have changed since I left for US some fifty years ago but there are a lot more high rises and traffic!

      Thank you! I was born and grew up there and have seen many changes for better every time I visited there in the past 10-15 years except the traffic!
