I have just got back home in Frederick, Maryland from a 12-day trip to LA area. Our first stop was an overnight trip to Joshua Tree National Park. We visited the park on a day trip from LA two years ago and was regret not to see the beautiful desert like sunset … so I captured what I was looking for this time, what a sight! We went back at night hoping to capture some night photos, unfortunately, the moon light was too bright puls the moving cloud prohibited us from taking any nice star photos, no milky way here. May be next time!
Beautiful photos. You definitely captured a perfect moment of Nature’s power.
Thank you, we were lucky to capture the gorgeous colors of sky at sunset that only last for about 20 minutes.
Thank you! Sunset colors in desert seemed to be more colorful!
These are stunning. 🙂
Thank you, glad you enjoyed them. I was surprised with the colors pf sky that only last for less than 30,minutes.
Brilliant images, Stephen.
Thank you, Jane. It was amazing to see how colors of sky during sunset could change minutes by minutes within about 20 minutes. I felt lucky to capture such brilliant images.
Wow! So beautiful! The best pictures of sunsets I could get were in Arizona.
Thank you so much. I’ve been to Arizonan many times and trying to think about my favorite sunset shot over there – I got to say it was at the Painted Desert of Petrified Forest National Monument.
What gorgeous sunsets. You really have an eye for just the right photo at just the right time. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much. The beautiful moment probably only lasted for ten minutes, I felt very lucky to capture the scene!
Thank you! Timing and little bit of luck goes a long way!
