Snow Geese at Middle Creek, PA – Feb. 11-12, 2020

With relative warm February many snow geese (80,000+) seemed to gather at Middle Creek earlier, ready to head north to their breeding ground in Arctic North. We decided to take an overnight trip this week. We were pretty luck to see lots of action by these lovely snow geese in late afternoon on February 11 and also to capture beautiful sunrise scenes on the next day. It’s amazing how the soft morning sunlight could turn the white feather snow geese to golden color.

Thank you! My photos only show part of the incredible scenes – you’ll have to have fish-eye lens to show more when they do fly over and of course the “noise”. In short, just have to be there to experience the show!
