Olympus mirrorless Camera EM-1 Mark II is my primary camera. For the first time, I tried shooting the lotus flowers and lily ponds with the built-in water color feature yesterday. I have to admit I had to struggle a lot to get the correct exposures but with some post processing work I manage to get a few presentable images.

Does the camera’s water color filter work better than adding a filter in post-processing?
It seemed that way. I ended up have to use a ND lens to cut down the overexposure when taking water color pictures. I did try the Photoshop CS6’s water color filter without too much success, though its Oil Painting filter works pretty good as you may have noticed I did post a few images previously.
These are lovely! š
Thank you, Lynette. Something different!!

Thank you, Ching-san. It was fun trying something new!

Thank you and pleased you like them. It was my first try for taking the water-color like images with my Olympus camera.
