Street Photography in Peru – 2012

This is the 4th one of my series of “Street Photography”. We traveled to Peru during Christmas season in 2012 visiting Lima, Cusco and Machu Picchu. Highlight of the trip was, of course the train ride from Cusco to Machu Picchu and the tour of the “lost city”. However, I was really fond of Cusco, rich in ancient Inca history. It’s an attractive old town to walk around (walk slow in the high-altitude, over 3,000 meters high). The dresses of local girls and women were full of color. I took most of the pictures by politely asking and sometimes paid a small token of fee.
