Street Photography in Namibia – 2017

Cityscape, Namibia, Photography

We took a 10-day tour of Namibia in Southern Africa in May 2017. It is a land of beauty and contrast – the incredible red-color sand dunes in the desert of Namib-Naukluft National Park, the Atlantic coastal desert near Swakopmund and the wildlife in Etosha National Park. We also enjoyed visiting several native tribes during the tour. This is the seventh and last in my series of “street photography” – my early posting included China, Vietnam, Morocco, Peru, Myanmar and Turkey. Until the CORVID pandemic is over, I guess we’ll have to stay home!

  1. I love your images! I was last in Namibia in 2017 – and when transferring my blog to my site, I was just so reminded of how incredibly beautiful it is. Opening your story, and seeing the people on Dune 45, I smiled, as I also have a photo of ‘Stick people’ on Dune 45.
    Thank-you for sharing!
