Sunrise at Bombay Hook NWR

Beautiful sunrise at Bombay Hook NWR on the second day of our recent visit, especially the reflection of soft morning light in the pools. Though we did not see any snow geese like we did a year ago but we did see many birds, such as snow egrets, blue herons and many ducks.

You should visited there again! For snow geese I normally go in January and visited the nearby Prime Hook NWR as well.

  1. Nice photo. I loved that NWR, the one time I visited. On my blog site, if you search for Bombay hook, you should be able to see one of my favorite photos.

Thank you for sharing. What happen with the snow geese we used to see? Didn’t you check before you went? Lien-fu Huang
