Winter Storm Gail brought about 6 inches (15 cm) of snow and freezing rain/sleet to Frederick Maryland yesterday. The glittering ice particles on the tree branches under the soft morning sun was just astonishingly beautiful. I walked around the hiking trail in our backyard to enjoy the scenes and was able to capture these images.
