I visited National Arboretum in Washington, DC yesterday. The blossom of many magnolias has passed the peak, however, I always enjoyed taking photos with some petals on the ground.

There is beauty in decay, too. Lovely photos.
Thank you, Lynette. I always enjoy take photos with petals on the ground, be it magnolias or cherry blossoms.
Beautiful blossoms and beautiful photos. It is a pity that the flowers disappear so quickly.
Thank you, glad you like them!
One of the joy’s of Spring!
Yes, indeed! Thank you for visiting!
I noticed that the plate magnolias in our neighborhood just vanished after two or three days of blooming – much faster than normal.
Must be the warm weather – global warming!?
