We visited Chicago Botanical Gardens for half of day. It’s a beautiful place to wander around and enjoy all different kinds of blooming flowers. We were lucky to see a Corpse Flower Taman in display on the first day. I was most impressed with the extensive Japanese Gardens.

Thank you! That bansai is the star of bansai garden for 30+ bansias, it is estimated to be at least 600 years old.

  2. A wonderful botanical garden ! I saw the Corpse Flower blooming in our National Botanical Garden in Meise (near to Brussels – Belgium). Very impressing but the smell is less pleasing.

Thank you, Miriam. I was lucky to have a good photo friend in Chicago to guide me throughout the gardens. I was very impressed with the landscape of Japanese garden, just like what I saw at many gardens in Japan.
