Skyline Drive of Shenandoah National Park

Landscape, National Park, Photography

We were “on the road again” last week as country mucis singer Willie Nelson would sing. We drove through the entire Skyline Drive from north to south and then through the entire Blue Ridge Parkway all the way to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for the fall foliage viewing and photographing. The fall colors were just gorgeous along Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway. However, we did not have much luck at the Smoky when major portion of the Park was closed for two days due to high winds and when it finally reopened it rained.
