Weeping Cherry Tree at Washington National Cathedral

Cityscape, Photography

We visited Washington National Cathedral on Wisconsin Avenue in Washington, DC yesterday. The weeping cherry tree in the garden was blooming beautifully. However, the Cathedral is still undergoing major repair (due to earthquake damage some ten years ago) and is full of heavy equipment that prevent me from taking the full view of the church. However, I did manage to snap a few pictures I like.

Thank you, Lynette! Cherry blossom season is here in Washington area. We’ll visit Tidal Basin in DC to enjoy the peak blooming Friday (3/25).
