Castles on the Rhine River, Germany

Landscape, Photography, World Heritage Site

I have not posted anything in the past two weeks because we took a trip to tour Bavaria, Germany, Lucerne, Switzerland and Innsbruck and Salzburg, Austria. I began to sort out some pictures I took once we got home. Here are the pictures of castles on the Rhine River when we started our tour from Mainz with four hours of river cruise toward Heidelberg. It was a beautiful section of the River for viewing many castles on the hill tops and on the river edge.

  1. Impressive castles and some I even know. Most of the time castle are close to rivers. Nice shots Stephen.

  2. Lovely tours and the castles. It´s one of my favourite thing to do when exploring the Rhine, Moselle and Danube. So many Castles, almost all the same and so many rich stories about every ruins.
