The Town of Fussen is the southern end of Romantic Road that starts from Wurzburg on the River Main on the north. Schloss Neuschwanstein is the most famous and visited castle built by “mad” King of Ludwig II and the nearby Hohenschwangau Castle is less visited but just as beautiful.
