I took a day trip to Shenandoah National Park yesterday. The fall colors along the Skyline Drive were brilliant. However, the colors on some of the distant mountains have not fully developed yet – may be another week.

Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful photos of the Autumn Colors on skyline Dive of Shnandoah National Park. I like them very much. I have not been there for more than three years already.Best Wishes !!! Lien Fu Huang

    Thank you very much

  2. Is the first photo the overlook off Hawksbill? Looks similar to it. After we hiked Hawksbill, my family and I went to this overlook on Skyline Drive and watched a peregrine falcon soaring and a pair of ravens doing somersaults and aerial dives. It was amazing.

No, it was taken at one of the Overlooks on Skyline Dive (I don’t remember which one though) I was attracted to the sun rays. Thanks for visiting my blog!
