Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore is an important waterfowl sanctuary for migrating birds such as Canada geese, snow geese, swans, etc. along the Atlantic Flyway. There are also hundreds of varieties of birds that can be spotted in the Refuge and the most famous resident bird is the bald eagle. I had good fortune to capture some images of them this week.
