Sunflowers, Bees and Butterflies

Sunflowers in Jarrettsville, Maryland were usually planted for harvest in September. Though the blossom has already passed the peak when I got over there this morning, I manage to get a few shots to my liking, especially with the presence of butterflies.

I find very difficult to photograph yellow and red flowers! It’s hard to capture all the details and contrasts with such intense colors! You did great! Very nice photographs!

I have always had problem with red flowers to the point of almost giving up. Thank you for liking these yellow sunflowers. The light conditions must have been just right.
