St. Lawrence Seaway, Massena, NY

St. Lawrence Seaway is a navigation system of locks and channels both in Canada and US waters that allow ocean-going ships to enter from Atlantic Ocean to the Great Lakes. I worked for the organization from 1977 to 2003, first 7 years in Washington, DC office and the last 19 years in Massena, NY. We are glad to be back for a visit in the past two days seeing some “old” co-workers and personal friends in town and also catching up some picture taking. This picture was taken at the Intermediate Pool between two US Locks, Snell and Eisenhower Locks at sunset.

Thank you for your comments, much appreciated. I guess I got luck out to see this upbound (going to the Great Lakes direction) ocean vessel slowly approaching Eisenhower Lock during the “golden hour” for photography.
