Mesa Verde’s Cliff Dwellings

Landscape, National Park, Photography, World Heritage Site

To tour Mesa Verde National Park in southwest cornet of Colorado state is to learn how Ancestral Puebloans lived for 700 years during A.D. 600 to 1300. They were also referred as Anasazi people or in Navajo’s word of “ancient people”. It is the best collection of cliff dwellings among all the National Parks and is on the World Heritage Site. We visited both Cliff Palace and Spruce Tree House from the overlooks as they are closed for close-up touring since it is off season this time of the year (November).
