We arrived back to mainland Spain after the tour of Madeira Island, Portugal. The first port stop was Malaga but as it turned out was our last stop before concluding our cruise at Barcelona. It was due to the unusual high wind the Captain had to cancel our stop at Alicante (what a shame) in order to be able to get back to Barcelona at scheduled time.
The post popular shore excursion at Malaga is Granada and the magnificent Alhambra but since I have been there a few years ago I decided to go to the village of Mijas to enjoy the gleaming white houses where bright splashes of flowers spill over garden walls and window sills. It was simply a pleasant walking tour in the village. The narrow streets with shops and cafes were just photogenic for my camera.
Wow! Stunning photographs
