The Annual Bald Eagle Festival sponsored by the Conowingo Power Dam last weekend usually draws many bald eagle viewers and photographers. We arrived the site shortly after eight on the Veteran’s Day and were happy to take up the last parking spot out of the almost 100 parking spaces and we saw at least 150-200 photographers lined up along the fence all with some “big guns” waiting for special moments. Again, we were lucky to squeeze into a spot and waiting for special actions from bald eagles.

  2. Such magnificent birds! We live on a lake and it’s such a joy to see them as well as the ospreys that nest nearby.

Both bald eagles and ospreys are magnificent birds to watch especially when catching the fish from the water. Thanks for visiting my blog!
