I visited both Prime Hook and Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuges in Delaware in the past two days to capture some snow geese images. Here they are:

Super photos!
Thank you, glad you like them!
Wow, so many of them 🌟
Yes, there must be in tens of thousands of them. They will be here for the winter and start to fly back to the Arctic Region in March.
Thank you, glad you like them! It was fun capturing these images.
I used to live on Kent Island in the Chesapeake and loved seeing them when I went to the Eastern Shore, they would flock to the farmlands. It’s good to know there are still so many of them. I now live on a lake in southern Virginia and in the 6 years I have lived here there has been a definite decline in the numbers of Canada Geese that used to come here.
I did notice the declining number of Canada Geese at Blackwater NWR near Cambridge over the past few years. Snow geese at Blackwater also not as many as used to be. However, the number of snow geese at Prime Hook and Bombay Hook seems to be okay.
Oh, my! A big “WOW”!!
Thank you, I was glad to spot so many snow geese on this trip, especially at the pool near wildlife drive at Bombay Hook NWR. They even performed the taking off and landing in the water several times for us before they finally left for the corn fields for their breakfast. Couldb’t ask more than that!
🌸🌸
I have never seen so many geese in one area. What fantastic photos. Have you ever been able to photograph that many Canadian geese?
I used to take a lot of Canada geese especially at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Cambridge, Maryland but never saw the numbers that matched the snow geese.
Love wildlife photos anytime, anywhere.
