Glade Creek Grist Mill at Babcock State Park is a popular photo spot that usually draws many photographers in spring and autumn especially latter. It is popular in the fall for the colors surrounded the mill if the timing is right. However, the water in the creek is normally low sometimes even bone dry. That was the case for my previous trip. However, I really got luck out this time, not only was there the brilliant fall colors in the background but high water level showing the water fall in the foreground.

Beautiful images Stephen. I felt transported back in time whilst enjoying them. The mill, waterfalls and the foliage. Lovely!
Thank you so much and delighted you enjoyed these pictures. We really had good time for the wonderful “outing” especially seeing the beautiful foliage. The mill is a popular photo spot and we had our timing right, believe or not, it is a working mill (for show). Best to you, Stephen
Keihong,
These water mill’s pictures are exquisite. Their settings and mixed of textured old mill, water, foliage, and rocks are spectacular! Good job. Really enjoy them. I would say the second picture from top with golden foliage really stands out!
