Cedar Waxwing

While walking along C&O Canal Tow Path the other day, I noticed there was a flock of birds having a feast of red berries on the shrubs along the Canal. As I moved closer to take some pictures they all flew away but I did follow a pair rested on the nearby big tree, I quickly snapped a few shots. After some editing I realized they were Cedar Waxwings, my first encounter of these beautiful birds!

Thank you, Angela. To be honest, I wasn’t sure what I was taking until I edit the picture later. So it was a pleasant surprise for me. They are certainly pretty!
