Foggy Morning at Conowingo Dam

Landscape, Photography

On the way to Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge near Dover, Delaware last Saturday morning (Dec. 12), we stopped by Conowingo Dam to see if we might get lucky to capture some bald eagle images. Well, no such luck as it was so foggy that I didn’t even think the “sharp-eye” eagles could even spot the fish in the river. So it was time to shoot some landscape shots.

A lone blue heron!

Well, I did spot a bald eagle carrying a tree branch, apparently for making a nest!

Despite the fog, still very nice pictures and also a closing with eagles that are clearly planning to build a nest.
