Cherry blossoms of 2021 were short lived probably due to the unusual warm weather during the past week so the leaves were anxious to come through and forcing the flowers to fade away. We visited the Tidal Basin last Thursday and sure enough there were only a few trees left with some blossoms. However, the fresh leaves looked special and pretty.
