Bald Eagle Catching Fish, Again

An adult bald eagle weighs 10-14 pounds and it’s amazing that it can lift a fish up to four pounds from the water and sometimes with only one powerful talons. It’s a challenge and also fun to capture (with camera) what they capture.

No wonder so many photographers arrived in early morning and lined up along the river below Conowingo Dam to wait for the precious moments.

They said the super telephoto lens is for the bird, I mean for the bird photographers. You can definitely see an array of display here at Conowingo. I get timid by displaying my Sigma 400mm telephoto lens!
