Zion National Park, Utah

Zion has one of the most impressive mountain peaks among the national parks in the U.S. It is most beautiful in the fall when the colors of trees change. During this photo tour of Death Valley and Bryce Canyon, Zion served as intermediate stop.

I have always been attracted by the red rock formation along Zion -Mount Carmel Highway near the East Entrance of the Park.

Being still “off-season” with very few tourists we were able to drive through the entire Zion Canyon Scenic Drive and stopped by at the Weeping Rock and the Narrow.

We also visited the Kolob Canyon part of the Zion:

Thank you. I think you had the exact description of Zion. The colors were not brilliant as compared to Bryce Canyon but “cool” during this trip.
