On the way home from Smith Island last week, we stopped by Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge near Cambridge, Maryland. Here are some of the shots of osprey taken with my Nikon D600 camera with Tamron 150-600 mm lens.

Thank you! It is also one of my favorite places to visit!

  1. Beautiful shots! I’ve been considering getting a Tamron 150-600 mm for my Nikon D7000. Do you like that lens? Any pros and cons you can share about it? Thanks!

Thank you for visiting my blog again. Yes, I like this lens very much, sharp image and quick focusing, the two most important features for my applications. This model SP150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC is one of the lighter weight models. But I usually use monopod or tripod for support. I got a good deal for $799 when BH Photo had a discount for the lens.
